  3. This DOS program uses Michael Barnsley's "Chaos Game" algorithm to display 
  4. fractals defined by "Iterated Function Systems".  
  5.  
  6. Features: * Full editing capabilities to modify the IFS - design your own
  7. fractals! * IFS given in terms of geometric properties (scaling, rotation,
  8. fixed point) * Color optionally included as an independent dimension *
  9. Randomizer generates an endless variety of new fractals * save fractal images
  10. as .PCX files * Help screen explains commands, algorithm * Many example .IFS
  11. files included.

  13. FREDEX.EXE is a self-extracting compressed file. 
  14. To INSTALL on C: from A:, type:
  15.      C:
  16.      md fred
  17.      cd fred
  18.      copy A:fredex.exe
  19.      fredex
  20. Then to RUN FrEd, type:
  21.      fred
